This is the toss garter or whatever it’s called, the garter that’s thrown. Simple but the right colors! Added the bow so it wasn’t so plain. I will probably add a charm to the bow. Saturday I will attempt garter #2.

5 months & 17 days! Holy crap that’s soon…

So I was let go today. After my shift was over of course. I have mixed feelings about it. I’m relieved cuz I HATED my job but now I’m unemployed. Yes, I can collect & have already filed but it’s not going to be as much as it was making working. So yeah, we shall see what happens! When a door closes another one opens, right or something like that ahaha

We finally moved! We aren’t quite settled yet BUT today we got our Internet & cable hooked so that’s kinda all that matters haha. There is still a bunch of boxes that need to be unpacked/put away. I should really get back to wedding planning but I’m going to be honest I don’t feel like it… Is that bad? :/ what kind of girl am I? I should be all giddy over this shit!!!

Yesterday I picked up my dress, bought my hair comb & ordered my shoes!!! Pretty excited! Gave it all to my sister to keep at her house cuz I’m moving on Monday & so Robby doesn’t see it. Im so glad I don’t have to drive to Allentown anymore. When my shoes come in they are going to ship them to my house. They asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment with them for alterations I said “no, I am doing that locally” They don’t even do the alterations free! I’m not going to drive an hour away at least 3 times AND pay a BUTTLOAD of money! I’d rather stay in the area AND pay a BUTTLOAD of money (why the heck does the iPad keep correcting BUTTLOAD to all caps?! Haha) Anyway, yeah I’m excited! Next moving & getting settled. Then HOPEFULLY get started on booking vendors for the wedding. Which reminds me, I’ve only been to one florist. I really need to shop around.

I’m hoping people have that much common sense haha.

Does anyone know wedding etiquette anymore? If I address your invite to YOU will you know it is for you ONLY and not for you and a friend or a guest or whatever? I want to follow “wedding etiquette guidelines” but I don’t know that people actually know wedding etiquette anymore, people barley have manners haha. Without a doubt I am putting “adult only wedding & reception!” on the invite & the RSVP cards. I’m also putting the invitees name on the RSVP card, I will not be asking how many guest attending or anything like that. It will say persons name, you coming? What do you want to eat? Haha. Hopefully that is blunt enough, debating adding “invitee only” but we shall see.

I really want to avoid extra guests, people I’ve never met before & screaming kids. I would LOVE to not have bitch face at my wedding haha.

We have a move in date! It’s the Wednesday the 21st! Yes, during the week & right before Christmas but whatever, we finally have a date! So the day after we move in we are going to get a Christmas tree so that it will actually feel like Christmas… Christmas in boxes haha. Once we are settled i will be able to get back to wedding planning. The wedding is in 6 months & 27 days and I basically haven’t done anything, except… Well let’s see… I picked up my veil, the girls ordered their bridesmaids dresses and… well, that’s it! IM SO EFFFED!!! Maybe not… Ok yeah, I am! Looks like January will be for catching up.

I know I’m jumping ahead but I’m kind of worrying about my makeup for the wedding. Everything I’m reading says it best to get a professional make up artist because they know what makeup is good for the flash the photographers will use… I’m also scared that if I go to a professional that 1) are they going to use bushes & what nots on me that they have used on other people?!!! Ewww gross!!! 2) what if I like how they do my makeup at the practice session but then the next day I wake up with Alligatortits again?!!!

Ok so let me explain, I have very sensitive skin. Lots of eye makeup makes my eyes red, swollen & itchy. Lots of face makeup makes my skin red, itch & break out. Any lotions & body wash with perfume in them make me breakout in a rash. On my birthday (November 9th) after a day of being out & about, I came home to what I have named Alligatortitis! My face looked like it had scales, it was so dry & itchy! And i had this funky looking rash all over my face! It was the worse around my jawline. I had to go to the dr & get meds to clear it up. The weird thing is I don’t know what I got it from… That day I went & looked at 3 potential houses, I could have touched something & touched my face & got the rash like that. I also shook the realtors hand, what if she had some kind of lotion on her hands that I’m allergic to & after I shook her hand I touched my face?! I could have gotten it that way. I have always been weird about shaking hands & germs but NOW IM EVEN WORSE!!! I didn’t start any new face products so I know it wasn’t anything like that.

I don’t wear makeup too often because of how sensitive my skin is. I’m always worried that if I try something new I’m going to get Alligatortitis again. Same with face wash. So this whole makeup thing is freeaking me out :( and I don’t know what to do. Seriously, I have issues!

Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’m forgetting something. Can I really have everything on my list? Am I really that awesome? Am I really that much of an organized freak? So I googled “most common forgotten wedding items” and the only things I didn’t have on my list were emergency items like pins, band-aids, sewing kit, breath mints tissues and a tide stick. Oh and cake boxes & vases to put bouquets in. I don’t know that I’m going to put the bouquets in vases, actually I didn’t really think about what we were going to do with the bouquets during the reception. So that’s something I’m going to have to think about. Anyway, on my search for the thing I feel like I’m forgetting, I found forums on some wedding site. WHOA!!! These women were at each others throats!!! Someone would ask a question, another would answer and another would say how stupid that answer was and say what they think. Then the first one that answered would say how stupid their answer was… It was hilarious!!! Bitches be crazy!!!

With everything that’s going on its hard to plan a wedding. I’m not in the mood nor do I have the time. Planning a wedding is suppose to fun, your suppose to enjoy it. Or so I’ve heard!
